Fake firearm used in robbery attempt along Molynes Road

The Half Way Tree police say they have taken two men into custody, after he allegedly tried to use an imitation firearm during a robbery attempt along Molynes Road in Kingston 10.

It is reported the accused were identified and arrested, after their would-be victim managed to escape and seek assistance from a nearby police team.

The team went in pursuit of the alleged robbers; the two men fitting the man’s description were seen in the vicinity of the Spanish Town bus stop.

They were accosted and searched; the imitation weapon was taken from one of them. They were taken into custody pending further investigations.
