Murder-accused held at airport
Twenty-seven-year-old Shaquille Hudson, a music producer residing in Collins Close, Kingston 8, has been charged with murder.
Hudson, who also faces charges of illegal possession of a firearm, and ammunition, is accused of killing 23-year-old Troy Beckford, a resident of Collins Close. The incident reportedly took place in their community on December 29, 2021.
According to reports from the Constant Spring police, Beckford and Hudson were at a business establishment when an argument developed between them. A physical fight ensued and Hudson pulled a firearm and shot and killed Beckford before escaping in the area.
Hudson was arrested at the Norman Manley International Airport when he tried to leave the island on February 6. He is scheduled to appear in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on February 22.
