'Spilt' charged for robbing elderly man at ATM

Romaine Finnikin, otherwise called ‘Split’, a labourer from Tivoli Gardens in Kingston 14, has been accused of robbing an elderly man at an ATM Trafalgar Road on Tuesday. 

According to the Half-Way Tree police, Finnikin approached an elderly man, at the ATM and demanded that he withdraw $10,000.

A security guard, who was on duty saw what was happening, apprehended Finnikin and summoned the police.

He was pointed out to the police and searched; the money was found in his possession. Finnikin was subsequently charged with robbery with aggravation. His court date is being finalised.
