Bog Walk Gorge closed due to Beryl

The authorities have closed the Bog Walk Gorge in St Catherine amid the bad weather.

Police and fire personnel have locked the gate leading to the gorge due to rising waters and fallen trees.

When our team visited the Dam Head area, a fire truck was seen blocking the roadway.

The police also maintained a presence, which resulted in some motorists using the toll road.

Meanwhile, the police in Bog Walk said there has been no case of criminal activity in the space.
