40 guns seized so far by St Catherine North police

The St Catherine North police are reporting that they have recovered 40 guns so far this year.

This is six more when compared to the corresponding period of January to September last year.

The police indicated that the latest recovery happened this morning around 12:05 in Gravel Heights in Spanish Town.

During a snap raid in the area, police personnel said a Smith and Wesson pistol affixed with a magazine containing seven rounds of .38 MM cartridges were recovered.

No arrest has been made as investigations continue.
