Romaine Beckford moves forward to high jump final

High jumper Romaine Beckford has advanced to the final at the Paris Games.

Beckford,  Jamaica’s lone representative in the event, cleared the bar at 2.24 on his first attempt.

This despite having three unsuccessful attempts at 2.27m.
