21-y-o man dies in car crash

The police are investigating an incident in which a young man lost his life in a motor vehicle accident in 8 Miles, Bull Bay, St Andrew, earlier today.

Reports are that about 12:30 a.m., Rameech Laidly, 21, of Borado Avenue, Kingston 17, was one of three men travelling in a Toyota Mark-X motor car that crashed into a utility pole.

Laidly was flung from the car and sustained serious injuries. The other men fled the scene of the accident.

The police were called and upon arrival, transported Laidly to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
