‘My goat was raped’ - Woman weeps for beloved pet

A farmer is sounding the alarm after her beloved nanny goat, Molly, became the victim of a shocking act of bestiality.

Claudia told THE WEEKEND STAR that the incident has shattered her trust and left her pet goat traumatised.

"Be very careful with your pets and animals and pay attention to them as much as you can. The same way you will look out for changes in your children's behaviour, is the same way you should look out for your animals. There are crazy people out there and one of them interfere with my goat," she said.

Claudia said she purchased the pregnant nanny goat in October, and the animal became attached to her like a pet.

"When I buy her, she was very wild because she didn't used to being tied with a rope as she was in a pasture. She then became tame and would follow me all over the yard like a puppy, and if I am eating a snack, she would want her share. When I call 'Molly' she would say 'Maaay' as she knows her name," she said.

Claudia said she left Molly in the care of her daughter last month to conduct business for a few days.

"About three Sundays ago, I went and I look for Molly and my daughter told me that she was trying to move her but she lay down and wouldn't come when she call her. So I went to look what was happening," she said. She was horrified by what she saw.

"I tried to pull her up but she was hiding the back part of her in the bush. When I pull her out, oh God, her tail was swollen and spread out like a parachute. Her vagina was badly swollen and bloody water was coming from it. I call somebody who usually deliver goats and take care of them and he said it looked as if something had bitten her. When the person push their finger so he could see, he said that it was really damaged," she said.

"I cried so hard. He told me the goat was raped by a human. Poor Molly was tortured and it was like they covered her face as her eyes and around the mouth was bruised. The poor goat couldn't move. Molly was very battered," Claudia added.

The woman said she has not reported the matter to the police and has been using home remedies to heal the animal's wounds. According to Claudia, people have suggested that she kill Molly, but she insists that she will keep her as a pet, even after she gives birth.
