Firearm found in fowl coop in Westmoreland, man and two women arrested
The Westmoreland police have seized one firearm and ammunition and arrested a man and two women during an operation in Jerusalem Mountain, Westmoreland on Monday.
The Savanna-la-Mar police say that about 4:00 a.m., lawmen were in the area when a premises that was occupied by the man and the women was searched.
During the search, a Bryco Auto .380 pistol with a magazine containing eight .38 rounds of ammunition was found in a fowl coop that was in an area adjoining the premises.
The occupants of the house were taken in custody for questioning.
Their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
