Westmoreland man facing gun charge
Detective assigned to the Westmoreland Criminal Investigation Branch arrested and charged a man with shooting with intent and using a firearm to commit a felony following an incident on Hudson Street, Savanna-la-Mar, on February 15.
Charged is 48-year-old Marlon Ranger, otherwise called 'Rat' of New Market Oval. On March 12, about 4:18 p.m., he was positively identified in an identification parade after which he was formerly charged for the offences. His alleged accomplice was accosted and charged on February 22.
