Alleged serial rapist charged for sexual exploitation of women and young girls

January 21, 2026

A trail of alleged sexual abuse spanning several parishes has landed a 25-year-old Portland man back behind bars, as police accuse him of being a serial rapist who used explicit images, online threats and fear to prey on women and underage girls.

The accused, Ackiel Davis of Cornwall Barracks in Moore Town, Portland, was arrested and charged by detectives from the Counter-Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) in connection with a series of sexual offences reportedly committed between 2023 and 2026.

According to the police, Davis allegedly obtained explicit images and videos of women and minor girls, then used threats of exposing the material on social media to force victims to submit to his sexual demands. He is now facing charges including rape, grievous sexual assault, use of a computer for malicious communication, and production of child pornography.

C-TOC reported that the latest charges stem from an incident involving a 16-year-old girl. Investigators say the complainant allegedly complied out of fear, during which time Davis reportedly recorded sexual acts.

Following intensive investigations, Davis was taken into custody on Wednesday, January 15, and later placed on an identification parade on Tuesday, January 20, where he was identified and subsequently charged.

Police further revealed that Davis is already before the courts for similar offences committed between 2023 and 2024 involving four other complainants. At the time of his latest arrest, he was out on bail for those matters.

Head of C-TOC, Superintendent Victor Barrett, condemned the alleged actions, saying Davis "exploited the digital space to target and terrorise vulnerable individuals, including minors, through a calculated pattern of blackmail and sexual violence."

"The fact that these offences were committed while the accused was already on bail for similar crimes is a blatant disregard for the safety of our citizens," Barrett added.

Davis is scheduled to appear in court on February 10 in relation to the earlier matters, while a court date for the new charges is being finalised.

C-TOC said investigations are ongoing, as detectives believe there may be additional victims. Members of the public with information are being urged to contact C-TOC at 876-967-1389, call the police emergency number 119, or report to the nearest police station.

The police are also advising citizens not to give in to online threats, warning that compliance can lead to further exploitation and physical harm. Victims are encouraged not to delete messages, images, or call logs, as these may be crucial to investigations.

Parents and guardians are being urged to closely monitor their children's online activity and educate them about the lasting dangers of sharing sensitive content, as police stress that early reporting is key to stopping serial predators.
