Usain Bolt to adorn mural in Brooklyn, New York
Jamaican sprint superstar and world record holder Usain Bolt’s face is set to adorn a mural in a New York community.
The mural is being painted in the Crown Heights neighbourhood in the Flatbush region of Brooklyn, New York.
According to DNAinfo.com, a local online news entity in Brooklyn, work on the mural of sports greats started this week and is being painted by locals from the Crown Heights Youth Collective.
Bolt will join soccer star Mia Hamm and boxer Mohammed Ali on the mural among other famous faces.
According to DNAinfo.com, the mural has been a neighbourhood staple, displayed in the community for at least five years, and the organisation is looking to spruce it up in time for fall.
It will reportedly take another week or so to complete and will include about 15 athletes in total.
