Classic and Dynasty will clash tomorrow for a place in the mid-season final of the Charley's JB Overproof Rum Western Jamaica Domino Premier League competition.

The contest will take place on familiar turf for Classic, which is based at Market Street, Falmouth starting at 1 p.m.

Tuff Gong of Meggie Top in Salt Spring, St James and Unity Strikers of St Simon in Hanover will also be in action also to determine who joins Dynasty or Classic.

Classic has been having a good time of it, having lost just once in the season and as captain Donat Witter explained, his team is confident of another victory as they eye the bonus prize.

"This weekend we are turning up in full colours because we want the mid-season title," said Witter, whose team is a newcomer to the dizzying heights of premier league domino.

"We are going to win this match, and the competition straight out," he further boasted.

no pushover

However, Dynasty will not be a pushover, as the seasoned team is ready and waiting according to manager Judith Leslie.

"We are focused and ready so you can expect the best coming from the best," she noted.

While taking note of Classic's great run of form, she was nonetheless confident that Dynasty will be copping victory.

"It's always good to be facing stiff competition and Classic is really doing well at the moment, but their luck just ran out because now they are looking at Dynasty, and we will hold no fear. My players are the best in the league and we will see come Sunday," she said.
