Price aims high against Harbour View

Coach Andrew Price believes their Jamaica Premier League (JPL) quarter-final tie with defending champions Harbour is far from over, despite Humble Lion entering this afternoon's second leg at Sabina Park at 5, being 2-0 down.
Price was impressed with their effort over the first leg's 90 minutes and believes that work on their finishing could have a favourable result.
"I liked some of the things I saw at the end of the game. Even though we went down, we were still trying to get on top of Harbour View and still had opportunities in their final third, but didn't convert. The tie is still open," he declared.
Price said Levaughn Williams and Mark Rodney hold the key to unlocking the Harbour View defence, and the players will give everything to reverse the result.
"Levaughn Williams did well, and so did Mark Rodney attacking them down the flanks, and that is where we need to exploit Harbour View.
"We need to get off more shots at goal. We got too many opportunities and didn't use them, but there is a lot more football to play, and once we get the first one, we will keep working to get back. We are not going to hold back. We will put it out there on the field and see where it leaves us," he said.
Harbour View enter the second leg after a dramatic extra-time and penalty shoot-out loss to Portmore in the Lynk Cup national knockout semi-final on Friday.
However, coach Ludlow Bernard maintains that they are on a mission, and he is confident in the ability to rotate players and keep their effectiveness.
"There were times when we had them on the ropes (first leg), and they were a bit despondent, and we did not drive that final nail, but it is a two-goal advantage, and in these types of ties, two goals is still a lead," he commented.
He anticipates that Humble Lion will try to force the issue from very early, but said they are prepared.
"They must surpass us with three goals, but we are up for it. They will ensure that this scoreline is not overturned," he added.
In the feature game at 8 p.m., Dunbeholden and Mount Pleasant are all square at 1-1 going into their second leg.
Mount Pleasant coach Theodore Whitmore said his opponents are tricky, but insists they will complete the mission.
"It is very tricky playing Dunbeholden. They will want to give it 110 per cent. We have a job to do. We will look at how best to approach this game and go out and give the best of ourselves," he said.
Dunbeholden assistant coach Craig Richards said the aim is to get an early goal.
"We have to continue to be positive and stop them from creating many chances, and then hit them on the counter as best as we can; and we know we have competent players who can do the job for us," Richards said.
