Harbour View and Waterhouse will meet in the feature match of the last round of games in the first round of the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex in Arnett Gardens today at 6 p.m.

Both coaches are expecting a tough fixture despite neither team performing at their best so far this season.

Waterhouse's form has been unpredictable. In 12 games they have had four wins, four draws and four defeats. They sit eighth in the standings on 16 points, just two adrift of the top six and a play-off spot.

Coach Marcel Gayle admitted that they have been less than convincing at the back and must improve their level of concentration.

"We have been playing good but we are being let down by poor concentration at the back. We did some work this week and, hopefully, it will pay dividends.

"We have been making some costly errors. So definitely it's the concentration that must get better," he stated.

Harbour View are 11th in the table with just one win all season but Gayle said this is no reason to underestimate them.

"They are seasoned campaigners. They have a good coaching staff and players and on the day they can get it right.

"We hope that it is not this game. So, hopefully, we can nullify their threats and execute our game plan," he said.

Harbour View have one win, six draws and three defeats, with 14 goals for and 18 against, and despite their less than impressive form, coach Ludlow Bernard believes they will get it right with a few adjustments.

"The ammunition is there to go on a run. We know what we need to address and once we get that we should be pretty good.

"This is a game that I am looking forward to. We are off the pace and we know exactly what we need to do. We have been making some progress, not as big as we wanted," he said.

Although Harbour View have two games in hands, this is officially the final game of the first round and Bernard wants to end it on a positive note.

"Waterhouse have always been a very competitive team in these types of games. We know they will bring their 'A' game and they should expect an 'A' game from us. We want to finish the round with a win, as it would certainly boost us," he added.

Meanwhile, at Drax Hall leaders Mount Pleasant entertain bottom-of-the-table Lime Hall in the St Ann Derby at 3 p.m.

Mount Pleasant lead the standings on 25 points, followed by Tivoli and Portmore with 24.

Arnett are fourth with 21 points, with Cavalier, Vere and Dundeholden next on 18 points each.

Newcomers Lime Hall and Treasure Beach are at the bottom on four and seven points, respectively.
