Jamaica Premier League joint top scorer Justin Dunn is promising to break his drought when Tivoli Gardens take on former table-toppers Cavalier at the Anthony Spaulding Complex at 5 p.m. today.

Dunn, playing his first season in the striker's role and has gone six matches without scoring, racked up nine goals in his first nine matches to sit atop the goalscoring charts with Waterhouse's Javane Bryan.

However, Dunn, who missed the game against Montego Bay two matches ago, admitted he is still getting back to his best, but declared that he intends to get off the mark in the second round, starting today.

"I got a knock against Lime Hall, and that hurt me in the first round, but I am trying to come back stronger with more goals.

"I have been doing a lot of gym work and hurdles to strengthen the hamstring, but the next game, I will score," he said. "We play Cavalier in the next game, and I am confident I will score."

The 20-year-old player had targeted 15 goals at the start of the season, but with things progressing far better than he expected, he is now setting his sights on the Golden Boot.

"The aim was 15 goals, but I can go further. I can score 12 or 13 goals in the second round.

"I want to go better than Colin Anderson, who scored 20 last season, so the target is to get the Golden Boot," he declared.

Dunn added that the rest he got while recovering from the injury was welcomed and that he is rejuvenated for the second round.

"I got a little weary, a bit overworked, but I am working on it to return stronger."
