Imlach, Sinclair, and Joseph boost Guyana Harpy Eagles
PROVIDENCE, Guyana (CMC):
The Guyana Harpy Eagles wasted little time in bringing in their West Indies players, as they get set to take on Combined Campuses and Colleges today in the second round of the Regional West Indies Championship at the Guyana National Stadium in Providence.
The squad sees the return of key players, including wicketkeeper-batter Tevin Imlach, who will resume his role as captain. Kemol Savory, who led the team to a commanding 10-wicket victory over the Barbados Pride in the opening round, will now serve as vice-captain.
The Harpy Eagles have been further bolstered by the inclusion of all-rounder Kevin Sinclair, who rejoins the squad following his stint with the West Indies team. Additionally, fast bowler Shamar Joseph makes a timely return after recovering from injury, adding firepower to the bowling attack.
However, the team has made a few adjustments, with Antony Adams, Isaiah Thorne, and Junior Sinclair omitted from the squad for this round.
Guyana Harpy Eagles squad:
Tevin Imlach (captain), Kemol Savory (vice-captain), Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Matthew Nandu, Raymond Perez, Kevlon Anderson, Kevin Sinclair, Richie Looknauth, Ronaldo Alimohamed, Veerasammy Permaul, Shamar Joseph, Nial Smith, Thaddeus Lovell.
