What kind of secrets is she keeping?

Dear Pastor,

I am a big fan of your programme. I am always reading your column and listening to your programme.

I have been in a relationship with this woman for about five months now. She is 20 and I am 27 years old. She lives with her older sister.

She insists on letting her sister know that we are dating because she said there have been stuff about herself that she hadn't shared with me as yet and she is not ready to do so.

I like this girl. But pastor, why should she keep hiding stuff from me? Should I ask her about it or leave her to time?

Dear J.K.,

I suggest that you do not try to force this young woman to tell you everything about herself. The relationship is new, only five months old. Give the relationship time to grow.

When she has developed confidence in you, she will probably tell you much more about herself. And if she does not do so and you love her, still stick around.
