Babyfather killing me with bun

October 30, 2019

Dear Pastor,

I am living abroad, but I have a relationship with a man who lives in Jamaica. The relationship is still going.

He still considers me to be his woman, but I know that he has other women in Jamaica. Anytime I raise the matter with him, he doesn't want to talk about it.

I don't say a lot about it, but it hurts me. I have not cheated on him, but his friends have told me that he always goes to parties with different women.

He is a handsome man and we have a child together. So, sometimes when I think about leaving him, I have to think about our child.

The child's grandmother takes good interest in him. I am planning to return to Jamaica soon because all my earnings are sent back to Jamaica to pay for the house that this man and I are buying together.

He says that when I return, no other woman would be able to come between us. I don't know if he is speaking the truth.

- C.S.

Dear C.S

You know that this man has other women. So tell him that he should tell you the truth. Tell him that you are not giving him licence to have sex with other women, but you expect him to use the condom if he is having sex with these other women.

By using the condom, he will be protecting himself and protecting you from STIs, including HIV/AIDS.
