I’ve found new love with this older man

Dear Pastor,

I am 53 years old and I am a widow. My husband died three years ago and I have found myself in love again.

When my husband passed, I decided that I would not get married again. But as time went on, I have changed my mind. Now I have met a man who was also married, but his wife has also died. We have hit it off well. I have only two children, but he has four. All the children on both sides are on their own.

This man lives with his sister, and the house they share was bought by the both of them. I live alone. Since we started going together, he spends most of his time with me at my house. When he is not here with me, we are on the phone together. Sometimes we fall asleep while talking to each other.

This man is 70 years old, but he is as strong as a lion and he is able to do everything a young man can do. So I am not missing anything in the bedroom. He goes to the gym three times per week and he eats healthy. Of course he is a pensioner, but I am still working and I have seven more years to go.

The sister he is sharing the house with is concerned about him, because she does not want to sell the house that they bought together. She is much younger than him. I do not want anything from this man. We love each other and we enjoy each other's company, and that is enough for me. My house will go to my children. But this man and I can live together at my house while we are married. His sister is making the house an issue. I told him that he should not fear, I would not claim anything that he has. Can you give us guidance?

It would seem to me that this man and you have found love again. I would encourage both of you to get married, but before you do, kindly go and see a lawyer and discuss a prenuptial agreement. Both of you are mature people and you are intelligent. There will be no need to fight over property. This man needs you and you need him, so everything should be alright. But please, see a lawyer.
