I’m about to lose my babymother

Dear Pastor,

I read your column on a daily basis and I have decided to write to you. I have been together with my child's mother for four years. I have done a lot of bad stuff and she found out about everything .

We have not been together for about one year, but I still visit her and we still have sex. I realised that she met another man who is living abroad. This man is about 50 years old and she is 23 years old.

This man came to Jamaica and my child's mother spent two nights with him. When I found out what she did I was gutted. It's killing me!

We are not together but I realised that I am about to lose her. She gave me a suggestion and that is we should give each other a break. She said that if we love each other we can get back together and we can have sex occasionally. However, I will not feel pleased about that because it will bother me. I am looking for your response soon.

Dear Z.,

You started your letter by saying that you used to do a lot of wrong things and your child's mother found out. Both of you separated, but she still facilitates you. She makes you feel that you are so special. You go to see her and she entertains you; she has sex with you and you sleep over.

Whether you know it or not, she doesn't like what she is doing and what you have done to her. She probably entertains you because you give her money. You used to give her 'bun' and you failed to realise that 'bun' is hot. Now that she has found a man, you are complaining and behaving as if the young lady is bad, but you don't consider yourself bad.

What you don't realise, young man is that this young lady wants you to leave her alone because she has found another man. Whenever a woman tells you that she needs a break, she is tired of you. You are talking about that man's age; the man is probably taking good care of her. Take your licks and stop harassing your child's mother. You say that you are about to lose this young lady, you have already lost her. I repeat, leave her alone.
