Feel bad for cheating on my husband

Dear Pastor,

I am in my mid-60s and I have been listening to your radio show and reading your column for years.

My husband and I have enjoyed your column, and most of the time we agree with the answers you give. I wouldn't say all the time, but most of the time. I am having a problem now with my husband. He is in his 70s and he is not as sharp as he used to be. I sometimes want my 'stuff', and I have to talk to my body and ask my body to control itself. I am embarrassed to confess that I have cheated on my loving husband. We have been together for many years, but sometimes my body feels for sex and my husband is not able to go up to it.

A few weeks ago, we were in bed and he just asked me out of the blue, so to speak, if I had ever cheated on him. I quickly answered "No dear, I will never do so". Then he said he suspected that I had strayed and if I strayed, he would forgive me. I don't know what he had seen. Perhaps he heard me on the telephone and I said something to the gentleman, or even to one of my female friends. I don't know because sometimes my female friends call me and we talk rude things on the phone. So I don't know if he heard something.

I try to keep very close to my husband. Although he is not able to do anything, I hug him up in bed, and while I am hugging him with one hand, I am helping myself. I will never leave him. We have a lovely home. We have four children who are living abroad and they wouldn't want me to leave their father. I never thought that at my age I would still love to have sex, but I do, and I have been having sex from I was 16. I have only had four sexual partners. My body still needs sex. Do you think I am a bad woman? My husband has gone to see the urologist.

I will do my thing by the side. I don't like to do it, but so it is for the time being.

I don't care what you say, you are a bad woman. You must cut out what you are doing.

I know that it is a fact that many many senior citizens enjoy having sex even when they are in their 80s and older, but you should try your best to be a good woman.
