Dejour releases new single for Xmas

Emerging recording artiste Dejour, will release his latest single, 'Miss Elegance', today. It's a song which, he said, is all about women.

Dejour, won the 2014 'On the Verge' contest. He has been steadily carving his own niche in the local industry. Many will remember the stirring performance of his single, Bunna Man, at last year's Youth View Awards.

Miss Elegance is a further step towards the stardom he craves.

"For Miss Elegance, I really wanted to make it about the ladies who are a big part of my following, and also my aim on this track is for it to go further than my first single, Bunna Man," said the singer who industry experts claim sound a bit like Christopher Martin.

"Overall, I'm excited and just hoping for the best!"

Dejour described his latest effort as an energetic combination of dancehall and pop that is sure to get people dancing. He said he had a good time recording the single that is out in time to be added to playlists for Christmas parties.

"Recording this song was pretty easy. I really did feel this track, and I meet so many elegant ladies, daily, writing this was very easy. It's also a song you can relate to, so I'm looking for favourable response by my fans," he said.

Dejour will also release his dancehall/R&B cover of Justin Beiber's single, Mistletoe. He is also working on collaborations with fellow emerging star Mink Jo, as well as the release of his first official music video.
