'Bad and Boujee' goes for soca

Party fans in Kingston are in for a treat tonight, as the much-anticipated soca and dancehall party Bad and Boujee will take place at the Dust HQ in Kingston 11.

The party, which is being promoted as a multi-genre event, is poised to become one of the premier events on the inner city soca party calendar.

"I'm very happy about the response that we have been getting so far. We are working on building a brand and the goal is to become a staple on the entertainment calendar. It's carnival season, and we are taking advantage of that by delivering some strong soca segments, as well as other genres," said Kaddisha Boo Kay, promoter of the event.

According to the promoter, this staging of the party will set the tone for an even bigger staging in the 2018 carnival season.

Bad and Bougee will feature a line-up of popular disc jocks like Sliver Stone, DJ Breedz and DJ Fire Blindz.

There will also be a guest performance from dancer Shelly Belly.
