George Nooks glorifies God in new single
Reggae singer George Nooks is at it again and this time it is with his latest gospel track 'Just In Time'.
The song has found the connection not just with his Jamaican audience, but on the international scene.
The single is now sitting atop the South Florida charts followed by Wayne Marshall's Glory To God.
On the New York charts, the positions are reversed with Glory To God in the number one spot.
Commenting on the way his song has been embraced by listeners, Nooks said he was thankful for the love it has been given.
"When I go into the studio to record, I am especially inspired when the songs are inspirational," he said.
Although he has found a comfortable niche where gospel is concerned, Nooks also has the enviable distinction of connecting in both the secular world and Christendom.
"I'm always in studio and whether it's lovers' rock or something inspirational, I continue to do my thing. The goal is to keep feeding the soul," he said.
Nooks is expected to release his latest album, Tracks For You, this August. It will comprise tracks such as Someone Special, Come A Long Way, My Heart Is Gone, I Remember You and Love Light.
Nooks said it is a lovers' rock album and the tracks are all 'feel good' renditions.
