The place to be last Friday night was obviously Gangsters In Black: The Summer Street Dance Edition.

Hundreds of patrons turned out for the sixth staging of the popular series at the St Lucia car park in New Kingston, St Andrew.

The atmosphere was next to perfect top-shelf liquor flowed, and the selectors were at their best.

Popular selector Fire Links closed off a night that featured a formidable line-up including Chromatic, the charismatic Bishop Escobar, and East Kingston's finest, Hattaclaps.

Fire Links, who is known for his energetic sets, was definitely in his element. But before he graced the stage, Hattaclaps injected a blast of energy with a set that had almost every patron dancing.

Bishop Escobar's introductions to each song was comical, and his selections were outstanding.

"The last staging was grand, and this one was even greater," said Cass, the promoter of the event. "The ladies were hot in their sexy black outfits, and the party had flair and hype. It was a great experience."

He went on to thank the sponsors and patrons for their support.

"We are extremely elated about the enormous support and love that was shown. See you all again at our next staging, Cooler Fete Bikini Edition, on December 9," he said.
