For the past few years, producer Adrian Hanson has shifted focus to concentrate on other areas of the entertainment industry.

His Donsome Booking Agency, which officially opened two years ago, is the exclusive agent for the 'queen of reggae, Marcia Griffiths.

Additionally, his Donsome Records is the exclusive publisher for queen of dancehall, Spice.

"I've been Marcia's exclusive booking agent since January 2018. Since October last year, Spice signed an exclusive publishing agreement with my label, Donsome Records. I am her publisher and my responsibility is to register, copyright and protect all her songs. Anyone who wishes to use her songs, I have to issue clearance," said Hanson in a media release.

The Clarendon-born Hanson, who is based in New York, said his professional relationship with Spice goes back 11 years.

"I actually produced a song for Spice in 2008 called Stress Free. I am also her sound exchange specialist and I am charged with the responsibility of collecting her royalties. Additionally, this past June, my company, Riddim-Don Magazine and Bojangle, promoted a show in New Haven, which Spice headlined. So, I have been working with her in several areas of the business," he explained.

According to Hanson, since he began working with Griffiths, her brand has seen significant benefits. He was instrumental in arranging her current Timeless European Tour. He is also working on her forthcoming US tour, which kicks off in October.

Hanson's company recently cleared songs from Spice's catalogue for use in the 'Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and the American reality series Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Among Hanson's credentials as a producer are on the singles Mama Bawl by Gyptian, Famine and Drought by I-Wayne, Second Place by Khago and Take Pride by Ishawna.

He has released various artiste compilations, including Reggae in My Heart, Reggae Grass Roots, and Ghetto Cornerstone.
