Jamaica's youngest reggae sensation Koffee has been creating a huge buzz on the international scene, with her infectious songs.

Kylie Jenner recently posted herself vibing to Koffee's Rapture while on vacation in The Cayman Islands. Celebrities such as Rihanna and her best friend Melissa Ford have also been captured on social media enjoying Koffee's breakout hit, Toast, and the song was even featured in Jordan Peele box office hit, Us. And now, former US President, Barack Obama has revealed that the young Spanish Town native is on his radar, or rather, his playlist.

On the weekend, the 44th President of the United States released his highly anticipated summer playlist for 2019. The list, which includes 44 songs, saw Koffee's Toast coming in at number 28, putting her in the mix with some of the biggest names in pop, Rock & Roll and rap. The list included the likes of Lauryn Hill, SZA, Ella Mai, The Rolling Stones, Drake, Rihanna and Jill Scott.

As news circulated that the 19-year old reggae phenom made it on to the former president's playlist, congratulations poured in from the industry. Ce'Cile, Supadups and Tosh Alexander were among those to offer congratulations to the young artiste. Having caught wind of the inclusion, Jamaicans across the world began tagging Koffee on Instagram which eventually led to the artiste acknowledging the post. In a tweet made on Saturday afternoon, Koffee showed appreciation for the inclusion by reposting the list with a simple caption that read, "WOW! Gratitude really is a must".

But, while Koffee's inclusion seemed to have been the main talking point coming out of the President's revelation, she was not the only Jamaican on the list. Reggae legends Toots and the Maytals also made it on to the list coming in at 37 for their song, 54-46 Was My Number. The song, which was released back in 1968, was among one of the first ska songs to enjoy international success, and is still a favourite among the international audience.

Jamaicans also had a presence at the top of the list as the number one song on the list of 44 ( Too Good by Drake ft Rihanna), was produced by two Jamaicans, Supadups and Anthony Paul Jefferies, also known as Nineteen85.
