Rain or moonshine, Buju and Beres must go on!

Smack dab in the middle of Bambino's set during Intimate at Grizzly's Plantation Cove in Priory, St Ann, the heavens opened to unleash an elemental blessing on the concert grounds.

While many crowds would have fled, Intimate concert-goers were unmoved by the drizzle. Even as the rain came down, the only thing that could be seen from the crowd was the rolling of their hips.

Rocking to the musical stylings of the famous disc jockey, the 10 minutes of showers were met with indignation.

Standing defiantly in the front row, Suzette Jebbison told THE STAR, "I came all the way from Connecticut with my wonderful family from Canada, New York and all the way from Long Island. We were going to stay for our US$200."

She went on to say, "We would have stayed here until we were drenched. We have raincoats; we have umbrellas. We are ready for Buju, and we are ready for Beres."

For Jebbison, the highlight of her night will be to hear Beres Hammond's Double Trouble and Buju Banton's Untold Stories live.
