Devon Jorge wants people to ‘smile’

Reggae artiste Devon Jorge is giving us all something to 'smile' about with the recent release of his new song of the same title.

"Simply put, the track is about staying positive and strong. It is an uplifting one that anyone can listen to and enjoy," expressed Devon Jorge. So far, Smile has been receiving tremendous feedback from the public and the artiste is very elated about the response.

"The love that I have been getting is very good and it makes me feel like I am doing something great, something for the people to enjoy. My biggest hope is that my music will have global impact and reach people who need to hear a positive word and a reason to smile," he added.

On his musical journey for just about three decades, Devon Jorge has released some impressive singles, including, Justice, Cold Heart, and I Wanna Know. He prides himself on releasing music that is clean, conscious and provides a sense of community.

"I will always release music that can provide solace to listeners; feel-good music that can be played even 50 years from now," he said. Devon Jorge is working on an album , and is also looking into a few shows in Uganda and Kenya for the new year.
