Having a vision set on cementing his brand as a producer, Ramon 'RhomeDaDon' Lindsay has opted to collaborate with songbird Denyque on their latest release, Energy.

The track was released last Friday and entered the Reggae iTunes charts in Germany at No. 21 within a day of its release. RhomeDaDon explained that after finalising the beat with his composer, Stepen Dajour Bailey, he began brainstorming the possible artistes who would fit the beat; Denyque came to mind.

"I reached out, sent her the beat, and the rest is history. I believe those who get a chance to experience this project will find that it presents a limitless feeling, and that's one of the components we are using to push the campaign. This song hits on a personal level because everyone operates on a frequency, and love energy carries one of the greatest frequencies; everyone needs it," he said.

For Denyque, the early success of the track adds to her already-intrinsic motivation to continue putting a strong promotional muscle behind the project.

" Energy is a love letter to myself. I see this track being a timeless one. It's a feel-good song that acts as a reminder that love is truly unconditional. It's a song that is fit for every demographic and I believe, with continued marketing, it will transcend across barriers thought unimaginable," she said.

Currently amassing thousands of streams, the track presents as a sultry fusion of dancehall and R&B, adding to its international appeal and heavy curation across several playlists in European countries. The official video is set to be premiered in the coming weeks and will be shot and directed by RhomeDaDon, who also has a career within the industry as a visual director.

The momentum of Energy comes as no surprise to music lovers, as Denyque recently dominated the US iTunes charts with her EP, R.E.A.D.Y, peaking ahead of Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday 2, all of which she credits to continued teamwork.

"Teamwork is very important in any joint venture. With the traction Energy has, it has set the feeling of anticipation in place for my follow-up track, Like Glu, which features Charly Black, that will be released on Valentine's Day. The ladies are in for a treat with this one," added Denyque.
