Red Bull Selector set to ignite UWI Carnival ‘D’ Aftermas’

Red Bull Jamaica is set to revolutionise live music with Red Bull Selector, an electrifying event that puts DJs to the ultimate test. For the first time in the Caribbean, this high-energy showdown will take place at UWI Carnival's 'D' Aftermas' on March 15, challenging DJs to think on their feet as the audience takes full control of the music selection.

This year's event will be hosted by the charismatic Brush1, alongside headliner Travis World, an acclaimed soca DJ and producer. Adding to the excitement is Jamaica's powerhouse DJ collective, Chromatic, featuring Creep Chromatic and JR Chromatic.

This groundbreaking concept flips traditional DJ performances on their heads, giving partygoers the power to decide what gets played. Using red and blue voting tools, the crowd will dictate the direction of the music -- switching between genres and themes, like soca vs dancehall or old school vs new school. Every performance will be unpredictable, ensuring an adrenaline-pumping experience.

"The space where soca and dancehall meet is in need of constant innovation. I think Red Bull Selector will be one of those moments -- an all-star Caribbean DJ cast hosted by Jamaica's top touring MC means a little bit of everything for the patrons.
