Robertha excited about new single
Reggae singer Robertha has been buzzing with excitement since the release of her new single ' Crazy Love', which was produced by Gassie Ink Records.
The love anthem, which was released late last year, has struck a chord with the public.
"This track expresses the epitome of true, unconditional love reciprocated especially in a time and era where genuine love seems almost extinct," she shared. "This song was inspired by personal experiences. Everyone desires true love, love that's selfless and pure. It didn't come overnight but, eventually, the universe responded after I had a spiritual transformation." According to Robertha, her song is a prelude of what can be expected from her in 2025.
"I'm just flowing mystically and allowing fate to carry me on my musical journey, and it's all coming together. I am currently working on some more singles and an EP. I am going to release a lot of good-quality music this year," she said. She added that working with Gassie Ink has been a great experience, as the producer makes her feel appreciated.
"I know he values my work. He is the ideal producer to work with. He is very creative and knows how to get the best out of you in the studio," she said.
Robertha, whose given name is Sonya Downer, started singing from the tender age of four. She also entered the now-defunct Tastee Talent Contest in 1992, placing third. She released her first single, Crush, under her previous moniker School Girl, also in 1992. Her other releases include I Shall Not Be Moved and Beyond The Surface.
