Vacae Weekend set to rock Ochi
Vacae Weekend 2025 will take over Plantation Cove in Ocho Rios, St Ann, from April 18 to 21, with six events over the four-day span. These events are: The Lawn, Tropical Saturday, Pic-Nic, the Estate, Ova Suh, and Sandz Caribbean Music Festival.
Andrew Ellis, the event's CEO, said Vacae Weekend is far more than just a series of parties, insisting that "it is an outlet for all the things that make Jamaica unique; our music, our food, our scenery - and above all - our ability to have a good time."
Taking place over the Easter weekend, Vacae Weekend will see performances from the like of Govana, performing at The Lawn; Jah Vinci at Ova Suh; and Stalk Ashley at Pic-Nic.
First launched in 2019, Vacae Weekend is curated and organised by entertainment company Twenty14 Ltd, whose main goal has been to create a space that highlights Jamaica's most prominent features.
Ellis said has urged partygoers to get ready to 'vacae', adding that "this year will be our biggest yet".
"We are especially proud to bring our loyal patrons two new events which will introduce the world to a completely different side of Jamaica. So, coming all the way from the USA is Pic-Nic and Tropical Saturday. With these two additions, our patrons in Jamaica won't have to look too far for a good time, while those from abroad will have something extra to sweeten the pot while in Jamaica," Ellis stated.
