Spice to release love songs on Valentine's Day
It is no secret that our Artiste of the Month, Spice, can sing, but this Valentine's Day, the entertainer wants to show her fans just how versatile she really is.
The dancehall powerhouse is gearing up to release two new songs and said both singles are dedicated to couples in love, and will be released this Sunday as the world celebrates Valentine's Day. Inna Mi Pocket and Massive Explosion are the titles of the songs, and Spice told THE WEEKEND STAR that the singles are all about celebrating love.
"These songs are all about love," the entertainer said. "Both of them are dedicated to couples in love, and what better day to release them than on the day of love itself."
Spice explained the concept behind both tracks. "Inna Mi Pocket is produced by Arms House Records, and is talking about being so in love with someone that you wish you could keep them in your pocket and carry them with you everywhere," she said. "I know when people hear the title they're going to automatically think that it's about money, but it's a song about embracing true love and just being romantic."
The other song, Massive Explosion, was produced by Cashflow Records, and will see the entertainer showcasing her versatility as an artiste. "I
wanted to show my fans that I can do more than just the hardcore stuff. I want them to see that when it's time to be loving and romantic, I can do that too so they will see a little bit of Grace Hamilton on Massive Explosion as I will be doing a bit of singing," she said.
Spice is currently off the island as she is scheduled to perform at a show in Bronx, New York, on Sunday. The entertainer told THE WEEKEND STAR that she will be performing her two new singles for the first time live at the said show.
