Well, hello my Real Talk family. Welcome back to another exciting week. My guest today is the talented singer and songwriter, Bugle. So we know he can write hits, but is he a hit where parenting and relationships are concerned? Hmmm, let's see.

Renee: What kind of father are you?

Bugle: (Laughs) I wouldn't say they have me wrapped around their little fingers, but you can't be too strict as a father because there are certain things weh di youth dem a go get weh wid. You're not going to spoil them, but you can't restrict a kid too much. You still have to make them grow up as a kid. They get away with certain little things at times.

Renee: What is your most memorable daddy moment?

Bugle: When me see my daughter walk. It was one week before her birthday and me decide say she haffi walk before she turn one. Me bring her to my house and tell her, 'Yuh ago walk today enuh, Layla.' And trust me, when me bring her home to her mother, me mek sure bring the video and tell her, 'she walked today,' and from that she never stopped.

Renee: What qualities do you look for in a woman?

Bugle: Remember a me sing Nuh Compatible enuh. That song is self explanatory. A woman has to be real to herself for her to me. A woman who can provide a proper meal because I really and truly don't love to consume outside of the house if I don't have to. Me a go want a woman who can be a perfect mother to my child and one I can trust at on any level, every level. I'm not looking for a perfect woman because everybody has flaws, even me.

Renee: What's your relationship status now?

Bugle: I'm in a relationship and I have a lot of respect for my child's mother that I'm with.

Renee: What is the relationship like between you and Raine Seville now?

Bugle: Me and Raine Seville have a good relationship. We have a child and she is a good mother to our child and I'm a good father. In order for us to be good parents then we have to talk to each other. There are certain things that I would want to know about Layla that I cannot ask Layla, I have to ask her mother. So, we are on great speaking terms. Me and Lorraine nuh have no problem. I have a lot of respect for females in general because I have five sisters, I have a mother, I have a daughter and me have whole heap of nieces, so I have respect for women.

Renee: What is the most romantic thing that you've ever done?

Bugle: It is something that I love to do. I love to cook for a woman. I think that is very romantic. Remember inna Nuh Compatible, me say, 'me want soul food, you want burger.' I think a lot of women would find that very romantic too. Imagine, you're at work and you come home come see you husband cooking your favourite meal. You would think a di best man this inna di world.

This is where I'll leave you for this week. Next week, I'll wrap up this interview with Bugle as he talks music. Until then, keep it real!
