Dancers' Paradise : Crazy Hype takes on music
Popular dancer Crazy Hype recently performed his single in Poland to an audience of more than 10,000 persons.
According to the dancer, who dabbles in songwriting occasionally, he is trying to maximise his fullest potential as a human being.
"God gave all of us talents, and so I am going to use all of which he gave to me. In the Bible, the man who buried his talents was frowned upon, so I will not fall into that category," he said.
The dancer-turned-artiste, who has been busy touring Europe, noted that although his music is not very popular in Jamaica, he has been making a mark overseas.
"It has been relatively difficult to get my music popping in Jamaica like that, but I have never been one to put myself in a box. I am always touring and making connections, and in some countries, you would be surprised to see how they welcome my music because they are more concerned about the art and not the hype. In Jamaica, they are always looking for the person with the most hype to give the attention, but internationally, it's who really make good music and make people happy," he said.
Crazy Hype is also gearing up to release a new single in coming weeks. His other singles, like MVP and Brace, have also racked up thousands of views on social media.
"Everything is on my Instagram, so you can check it and look for yourselves. My new song was already getting attention before it was officially released, so imagine when promotion is in full gear. I just want my fans to keep lending their support, and memba what nuh dead, nuh dash it weh," he said.
Crazy Hype has also written songs for several European acts.
