Security threats: Classes at KC dismissed early

Following Monday's early dismissal at St Hugh's High School over a security threat, another school in the corporate area also had to endure a similar fate - Kingston College.

The STAR understands classes at the North Street-based institution were dismissed sometime after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday after a threat was issued to the school. 

Both students and staff were evacuated.

Jamaica has experienced a series of bomb hoaxes in recent weeks.

A man has been arrested and charged in relation to at least one of the incidents.
