President of the Jamaica Teacher's Association (JTA), Leighton Johnson, is appealing to anyone with information on missing principal of the Herbert Morrison Technical High, Paul Adams, to come forward.

It is reported that Adams went missing on Sunday night between Garland and Spring Mount in St James after stopping at a bar on his way from St Elizabeth.

He has not been heard from since.

"We are deeply distressed about the situation, and we are asking that anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr Adams, to please turn it over to the police as quickly as possible," Johnson told the STAR.

Adams, who served as a past two-time president of the association, has been the principal of the Bogue-based institution since 2002.

"We really do pray and hope he is well, and that no harm has come to him," Johnson said.
