Police probing robbery at Angel's Plaza KFC

The police in St Catherine have launched an investigation into the robbery of the Kentucky  Fried Chicken located at the Angels Shopping Centre in St Catherine. 

It is reported that the incident, which occurred about 11:30 p.m. on March 13 resulted in $224,000 and US$100 being stolen. As well as the cell phones of the workers. 

The STAR understands that the staff were at work when five armed men entered the establishment.

They pointed their guns at the employees and order that cash register be opened, they then proceeded to remove the cash. They then escaped from the scene,by walking out of the establishment.

There are no reports of injuries at this moment.
