Man killed over bike chain - Brother charged with sibling’s murder

A Clarendon man has been charged with the murder of his brother, who he allegedly stabbed to death following a dispute over a motorcycle chain.

Charged with murder is Lenroy Gouldbourne, 41, a mason from Lodgie Green district, Frankfield.

The police reported that on December 14, around 2:30 a.m., Lenroy got into an altercation with his 33-year-old brother, Errol Gouldbourne, a chef of Steer Town, St Ann.

The dispute allegedly started after Errol accused Lenroy of removing his motorcycle chain. Lenroy reportedly fled the scene, but later returned and stabbed Errol multiple times before escaping.

The police were called to the scene and Errol was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Following an investigation, law-enforcement officers conducted a targeted raid on Boxing Day at a premises in Green Bay, St Ann, where Lenroy was arrested.
