40-year-old in Belize found guilty of having sex with child

BELMOPAN, Belize, CMC - A 40-year-old owner of a funeral parlour who was found guilty of having sexual intercourse with an 11-year-old child, will return to court on April 25 for sentencing.

Patrick Robinson, appeared before Justice Derick Sylvester where he was convicted on three of five counts of having sex with the 11-year-old girl and continued until she was 14 years.

Robinson has been remanded to the Belize Central Prison, until April 25, when his mitigation plea will be heard before sentencing.
