Brand Coordinator of Gatorade Jamaica Karonna Atkins said the opportunity to support The Best Dressed Chicken 'Everyone's a Winner' 3K and 5K run this past Father's Day was one they could not pass up.

Gatorade Jamaica played an active role in the recent 'Everyone's a Winner' races at the Hope Botanical Gardens as the event's hydration sponsor.

Atkins said the event was a great platform for Gatorade to contribute towards staying active and was pleased with the number of people who turned out for the event.

"At Gatorade, we are dedicated to fuelling athletes and active individuals. We were thrilled to see so many participants come out to support the cause."

This year's staging raised funds for the Jamaica Society for the Blind's Scholarship Fund and also supported Latoya Butler, a young woman battling leukaemia.

The event was also significant as it also raised funds for the inclusive race which featured visually impaired participants. One such participant was Senator Floyd Morris which highlights the community support and inclusivity of the race.

Alfred 'Frano' Francis, the race director, said the event was far more important than just a race, but rather was a mission to help the visually impaired and those in need.

"The Best Dressed Chicken Everyone's a Winner race is more than just a race; it's about coming together to support those in need," said Francis.

Brand Manager of The Best Dressed Chicken Arielle Oliver echoed his sentiments.

She said the event was particularly important to The Best Dressed Chicken as it gave a platform to give back to the community and support a charitable initiative.

She said, "At The Best Dressed Chicken, we believe in giving back to our community. This race is a testament to our commitment to supporting worthy causes and fostering a sense of unity."

The race ended with a special awards ceremony for the top runners at the event and Gatorade congratulated several of the top performers, including Noel-Jonathan Ellis, Kemar Leslie, and Jomo-Rhys Gilman.
