Patrick Lynch's importee, PINEAPPLE, blinkers fitted and Lasix administered, is a banker in the third at six furlongs after chasing home fellow American MAGNIFICENT FORCE at six and a half furlongs.

Spread bets in the fourth in which foreigners COMMANDER Z and MAGNIFICENT FORCE take on local-bred SHE'S THAT GIRL. A real firecracker, speedy SHE'S THAT GIRL had wired MAGNIFICENT FORCE at six furlongs before he beat PINEAPPLE. However, the foreigners could improve rapidly and are not to be underestimated.

Use BESTDAUGHTERINLAW, THE GIFTED ONE, SPECIAL GIFT and quirky TAPIT GOOD along the stands' side at five furlongs straight in the fifth before closing all bets with HEDGE CRAFT as a banker at six and a half furlongs, just reward for his clear second behind ALWAYS WRIGHT on last.
