Reggae 6 ripe for the taking
IT is said the best time to collar the Reggae 6 is on the eve of a mandatory payout when most are hoping a single-winning ticket will not emerge.
Thursday's Boxing Day has been announced as mandatory payout, which could swell in excess of $9 million, considering the single-winner bonus stood at $3.18 million last Sunday.
GOD OF LOVE is a free banker to start Tuesday's Reggae 6, leading TAURUS BOY into the lane at six and a half furlongs before weakening under Samantha Fletcher. Returning at his favourite trip of five and a half furlongs, GOD OF LOVE won't be caught.
KAY BOY was clearly second-best behind PRINCE DOMINICK at six furlongs, late September, making him the obvious choice at the trip.
LADY SARSUTTA also looks good for the third event after successive second-place runs out the straight, chasing home RADAM on last. However, LADY SARSUTTA has bolted twice on the round course and might need back-up selections.
BURNING VALOR and HUNTSMAN should determine the fourth, whereas the fifth requires multiple selections such as BLADE, SHE'S NAE NAE, ESUSE ME GOODBY and AWESOME PRINCE.
