Twelfth season of Dancin' Dynamites launched
The 12th season of Charles Chocolate Dancin' Dynamites was launched at the Limelight Entertainment Complex located in Half-Way Tree, St Andrew, last Saturday.
The top-four dancers from the previous season displayed their talents, much to the delight of the audience.
Companies and brands, including NestlÈ's Supligen, the RJR Communications Group, Jet Blue Airlines, Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, Royale Computers, Burger King and I-Cool, renewed their sponsorship of the popular dance show.
It was also announced that dancers will be vying for more than $3 million in cash and prizes, while the winning dance group will also get a fully paid trip to Trinidad courtesy of main sponsor, Charles Chocolate.
Roxanne Brown, brand manager of Charles Chocolates, noted that fans are in for a treat for the show that was created by media personality Jenny Jenny.
"This year's theme is '12 swell high'. Charles Chocolates is once more title sponsor. We have been committed to developing the programme for the past seven years and we are privileged to provide an avenue for these youngsters," she said.
The new season will officially kick off with the first audition in Brown's Town, St Ann, this Saturday.
