Patrons go back in time at '90s Recall
Patrons had a whale of a time at the last staging of 90s Recall, held at the St Lucia car park in New Kingston last Saturday night.
The debate is still on for which school crew took the title of fashion icons of the night, but what's sure is that patrons had a good time.
Zinc Fence had the ladies eating out of their hands with girls' tunes of the '90s and early 2000s. Then there was Team Shella with the charismatic Ikel Marvelous, Flabba and DJ News who took the party to another level. They started their set in an unconventional manner, but soon they had the crowd cheering and giving gun salutes.
And, it was near pandemonium when the selectors took the crowd to the early 2000s right into the heights of the bitter rivalry between Vybz Kartel and Mavado.
"We at Team Shella are quite humbled by the positive responses from the crowd, and we are always ready to entertain audiences in the length and breath of the country and even beyond the shores of this beautiful rock called Jamaica," Ikel Marvelous said.
