Over a period of 10 years, actor and youth advocate Johnoy 'TV Boss' Williams has managed to claim his place as one of the most sought-after actors for music videos, advertisements, plays and television series.

He came on the scene in 2009, and by 2013 he was signed to Ellis International and was featured on the Ity and Fancy Cat Show for five seasons.

He is known worldwide for his roles in music videos such as I-Octane's Hurt By Friends, Busy Signal's Stay So, and Stephen Marley's Rockstone, which features Capleton and Sizzla. Stay So and Rockstone have been his most successful music videos to date, racking up 33 million and 177 million views, respectively.

"My career has been a blessing. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names within the entertainment industry and though it was not easy, I have reached a point where my resume speaks for itself, and that was my main goal. I wanted to show youths that they could achieve anything they put their minds to, nothing is too big for them to have," he said.

With a decorated resume which includes being a part of Nick Cannon's King Of The Dancehall movie, Williams has managed to land international representation.

He recently signed a management deal with US-based entertainment company Maximumtainment.

"Maximumtainment decided to sign Johnoy after years of extensive work together, based on his work ethic. I have a youth outreach programme in Portland, Jamaica, that he has dedicated himself to. I respect his selflessness, and that makes him more than a suitable candidate for this representation," said Steven Mingo, head of Maximumtainment.

In recent times, a non-profit organisation has chosen TV Boss to be the face of their brand across the Caribbean.

His influence as a mentor allows him to travel and share his journey with others, in a bid to lead them closer to their goals.

"I want my supporters to know that I tackle all angles of entertainment. I am an actor, voice-over coach, mentor, teacher and host. It took years to master my craft and I know I still have a far way to go, but with my new management team, I am sanguine that I will represent Jamaica globally," said Williams.
