Having made the decision to move away from the name Kryme Boss, while still 'keeping it real', recording artiste and music producer Real Boss is quite upbeat about his latest single, Epican.

The song pays tribute to the use of marijuana and takes its title from the Jamaican herbal dispensary.

The song is not only an ode to the popular outlet, but a song brimming with joyful lyrics that smokers and non-smokers can embrace.

The song was produced by Sheldon Kaine, engineer for reggae artiste I-Octane's Conquer the Globe Productions.

" Epican makes it clear that high grade deh yah fi everyone. But, you should mek sure yuh step wid yuh tutty grand as Epican truly is a place for high rollers and avid marijuana users," said Real Boss in a media release.

Fittingly, the video for Real Boss' new single replicates the chill, fun vibe that the dispensary is known for.

Aside from pursuing his interest as a dancehall artiste, Real Boss has been involved in different aspects of the music industry.

He has produced songs for the likes of deejay Fully Bad ( Rise from the Ghetto), and he has written for Suga Roy ( Shanty Town, featuring Busy Signal).

Speaking of his name change, Real Boss said, "This change in name matches the maturity of my music and approach as I continue to formulate my own credible identity within the dancehall space."

Epican is now available online at all digital retailers.
