9TYZ ending 2024 on a high

Recording artiste 9TYZ is blazing the airwaves with a catchy track titled Nuh Regular.

Produced by Marlon Loud of Loud Entertainment, the track was officially released on September 23.

"This song is about having a sneaky link with little to no boundaries when it comes to fulfilling each other's fantasies. It's never a regular type of relationship, always keeping things spicy and spontaneous," the singer highlighted about the song's meaning. Shot by SHOTBYDOLLAZ in Kingston, the accompanying music video goes in a new direction.

"Instead of going for just a basic lingerie scene, which would make the video pretty much predictable, we decided to give it a little storyline with a modern-vintage touch to make it a little bit more interesting," the artiste revealed.

Since its release, the track has been performing well and getting massive support from her fans and wider music listeners.

"My goal with this song is to create a larger fan base, for it to reach locations I've never set foot in; to open doors that I thought would never open; and for it to give my supporters hope and confidence in me as an artiste," she said.

Heading into her seventh year as a musician, 9TYZ is building her name with tracks such as Hot Boy, Call My Phone and Happy Time.

"I'm very versatile when it comes to my music, so even though my name is 9TYZ ('90s), it has nothing to do with the type of music I create, and with that my fans will always be getting a wide variety from time to time. I write based on my mood, experiences and knowledge. I'm an all-rounder, so whatever material is placed on the table, I can create art from it," she stated.

9TYZ said she is stepping into 2025 with more ideas, fresh sounds and new management, having recently signed to Loud Entertainment.

"The connection happened through a mutual friend in January, and after having several meetings over the phone, I had to make one of the biggest decisions at the time. As artistes, we hear of so many things going wrong when it comes to signing, but I had not one doubt because one thing about me, I'm going to take it to God and pray about it," she said.

"So, thus far, the journey has been good; rocky at times. But I'm happy that I'm in a space where I am able to have creative control; my opinions matter; and the team believes in me, most importantly," the artiste expressed.
